Today, Gaza is experiencing one of the most tragic periods in its history, where thousands of families are deprived of their most basic right to live in a safe home that protects them and keeps them united. More than 92% of the homes have been damaged or completely destroyed, and 90% of Gaza’s residents have been forced to displace.
The Hürrem Sultan Endowment is working to mitigate the displacement crisis in Gaza by constructing 500 tents, 200 caravans, and 200 wooden houses, thereby striving to provide families with the minimum standard of dignified living and security.
