Water for Gaza Project

After the devastating war in Gaza, the infrastructure has collapsed — water networks destroyed, wells contaminated, and thousands of families left without access to clean, safe water for drinking or daily use.

As the crisis deepens, thirst spreads through displaced camps and destroyed neighborhoods.
In response, the Hurrem Sultan Foundation has launched the “Water for Gaza” initiative to deliver clean drinking water to deprived and displaced families, easing their suffering and restoring a sense of dignity.

The project includes mobile desalination units and water distribution trucks to reach the hardest-hit areas, ensuring families have continuous access to pure, life-sustaining water.

Project Objectives:

  • Provide clean and safe drinking water to Gaza’s affected families.

  • Supply water to displaced households and areas cut off from the main networks.

  • Support and reactivate damaged water facilities where possible.

Estimated Cost: $10,000 per station.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“The best charity is giving water to drink.” – Ahmad
