In the village of Damoudoukh in Benin, the community gathers for prayers in the open without a roof to protect them, while simultaneously facing a grueling daily struggle to find clean drinking water. To stand by their side, we have launched this comprehensive project that combines building a House of Allah with providing sustainable water, creating a hub that revitalizes the village both spiritually and physically.
Project Specifications (Sustainable & Profound Impact)
This project is designed to provide a complete, long-term solution for the villagers:
- Location: Benin - Damoudoukh Village.
- Mosque Details: Construction of a 64-square-meter mosque, equipped with a sturdy zinc roof to protect worshippers from heavy rains and the scorching sun.
- Water Facility (Artesian Well): Digging a deep artesian well equipped with a modern solar-powered pump, ensuring an uninterrupted flow of pure water without placing operational costs on the villagers.
- Total Cost: $15,680 USD.
The Greatest Charities Combined
By contributing to this project, you earn two magnificent promises from the Prophet (PBUH) in one deed:
- The Mosque: "Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise."
- The Water: "The best form of charity is giving someone water."
You will be rewarded for every prostration (Sajdah) made under the roof of this mosque, and for every drop of pure water pumped by the sun to quench a family's thirst.
