In Alego village, families and children are forced to walk long distances and exert grueling effort daily just to obtain water that is often unsafe to drink. This severe lack of clean water threatens their health and future. Answering their call, we are launching the "Bucket Water Well" project as an urgent, sustainable solution to quench their thirst and revive their village.
Project Specifications (Rapid Completion, Lasting Impact)
This project is designed to provide a practical and safe water solution for the residents in record time:
- Location: Alego Village / Benin.
- Depth: Digging the well to an approximate depth of 20 to 40 meters to ensure access to the pure groundwater aquifer.
- Equipment: The well is equipped with a bucket drawing system, a protective cover to keep the water clean from contamination, and a simple storage tank for easy access.
- Implementation Time: Fast-tracked completion; the project takes only one month to be fully operational.
- Beneficiaries: The well will provide drinking water and daily needs for 90 to 100 people daily.
