A Drop of Water, A Revived Hope
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "The best form of charity is to give someone water (to drink)."
In the aftermath of the devastating war on Gaza, the infrastructure has widely collapsed. Water stations have halted, wells have been contaminated, and supplies to thousands of families have been completely cut off. Today, obtaining a single drop of clean water requires waiting for hours in long queues or risking drinking unsafe water, which threatens the lives of children and the elderly with the spread of diseases. Faced with this growing thirst in displacement camps and disaster-stricken areas, the Hürrem Sultan Foundation has launched the "Gaza Clean Water Project" as an urgent and vital humanitarian response. Our goal is to deliver a lifeline to deprived families who have lost all means of survival.
Project Tracks and Donation Options
To cover this massive need, the project operates on two main tracks:
- Clean Water Tankers: (Cost of one full tanker is $500)
Providing a 5,000-liter filtered drinking water tanker. This tanker covers the daily needs of approximately 400 displaced families, reaching the hardest-hit and most inaccessible areas. - Rehabilitation of Water Plants (Sadaqah Jariyah):
Maintaining and rehabilitating out-of-service water plants and extending destroyed water networks. With a production capacity of 3 cubic meters per hour, this ensures a continuous flow of pure water, providing a strategic, long-term solution for residential neighborhoods and shelters.
Your donation today is not just water... it is life granted and hope restored. Be a source of support for Gaza and help alleviate their suffering.
