For a young woman, wedding essentials are more than household items. They are the first step toward establishing a new home and beginning a more stable and hopeful chapter of life.
Hürrem Sultan Foundation aims to provide complete wedding essentials packages to 20 brides-to-be during the project’s first phase. With your support, they can prepare their homes and begin married life with dignity and confidence.
Wedding Essentials Support Project
Implemented in cooperation with the Governorship of Hatay, the project prioritizes brides-to-be affected by the earthquake, orphaned young women and families with limited financial means. Each beneficiary will receive a package containing essential household and wedding items.
As donations increase, the project will expand to reach more young women and help more families establish their new homes.
What Is Included in Each Package?
- Kitchen and household items: Kitchenware and dinner sets, pots, a teapot, glassware, cutlery, a toaster, kettle and blender set.
- Home textiles: Bedding sets, bedspreads, quilts, blankets, pillows, sheets, towels and bathrobe sets.
- Essential home items: An iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, carpet, bathroom products and other basic household necessities.
Who Will Receive Support?
- Brides-to-be affected by the earthquake,
- Orphaned young women,
- Young women from low-income families,
- Brides-to-be unable to afford essential household items.
