In the heart of the humanitarian crisis unfolding in the Gaza Strip, the Hürrem Sultan Foundation continues its leading role as a bridge of hope and humanity, embodying its unwavering commitment to affected and displaced families. As the crisis deepens and the severe shortage of basic necessities persists, our field teams have mobilized to implement a package of urgent relief projects that have touched the lives of thousands, thanks to your generous support and continuous donations.
Our response has been comprehensive and focused on vital priorities to ensure human dignity and support the fundamentals of life. Among our most significant achievements on the ground are:
- Securing Clean Drinking Water: Recognizing the critical importance of water, we have implemented two key projects: the distribution of 4,000-liter water tanks to provide safe storage solutions, alongside the manual digging of shallow water wells to secure sustainable water sources for local communities.
- Supporting Food Security: To combat the hunger crisis, we have worked on multiple fronts. We have distributed thousands of hot meals daily by supporting community kitchens (tekiyah) and provided fresh vegetable baskets to families. We also distributed 25 kg bags of flour , an essential staple for daily bread.
