EDUCATION FOR EVERY CHILD
In communities affected by crisis and poverty, many children risk interrupting their education because they cannot access school supplies or meet essential education costs. Teachers may also need support to keep learning going.
At the Hürrem Sultan Foundation, donations are directed according to assessed priorities toward school bags and stationery, student support, or teacher support. Our aim is to help children continue their education and enable teachers to carry on their work.
How Does Your Donation Support Education?
School Bags and Stationery
Helps provide orphaned and disadvantaged children with bags, notebooks, pens, and essential school supplies.
Student Support
Contributes, according to need, toward tuition, transport, accommodation, and other essential education expenses.
Teacher Support
Helps school and Qur’an teachers continue educational activities in communities where access to regular income has been disrupted.

It is hoped that education support whose benefit continues will carry the reward of ongoing charity. The hadith includes beneficial knowledge among deeds with continuing reward. Because reward depends on intention, implementation, and lasting benefit, we use language of hope and prayer rather than making an absolute promise.
Zakat may be given to a student who is financially eligible to receive it; being a student alone is not sufficient. If your intention is to give Zakat, please select the foundation’s dedicated Zakat project so the donation can be directed to eligible recipients.
